The nano TiO2 Production Process and its Applications
Our projects are focused on titanium dioxide, mainly in the following areas:
- New, economically efficient approaches to production of nanoparticles of titanium dioxide (TiO2). Our unique production process is protected by patents around the globe.
- Use of TiO2 nanoparticles and their composites in concrete applications
Nanoparticles of TiO2 have great prospects. The unique properties that particles of TiO2 exhibit at diameters of less than 100 nm have entirely new uses.
TiO2 at diameters of 250-300 nm is already a significant commodity on the world market, used as a pigment for manufacturing paints, as an additive in food products and in other ways.
Nanoparticles of TiO2 now represent only a small segment of the world market, but their use is growing despite the ups and downs of the economy. One source of the growing demand for them is the introduction of new products of applied nanotechnological research and their commercialization. These products are mainly materials used in photocatalysis for protection of surfaces, as preservatives, in cosmetics production and as carriers of catalysts. We have developed and patented a process for production of TiO2 nanoparticles based on standard processes used to produce pigments for white paint.
This process sharply reduces the cost of industrial production of nano anatase, and its end-products are TiO2 nanoparticles of high quality that can be used in a wide variety of applications from photocatalysis to cosmetics. We offer to sell our know-how to interested parties, whether by licensing or formation of a joint venture.
